Democrat propaganda stinking up a Hollywood blockbuster? Very original and unexpected.

Diana fights the Mandalorian (who looks like Donald Trump?) If that's what they're going for, bonus points for casting a Latino. I'm kinda over the whole 80s nostalgia thing, but it looks fun. Was hoping to get a better grasp on Wiig as Cheetah, but we don't see her much, and so far nothing in villain mode. I'm dreading another Lutherberg. WW can swing from lighting? That's fucking awesome.

A hetero romance in a modern blockbuster? "Problematic!"

"Problematic!" The hell are you talking about? Heterosexual relationships are still the norm modern blockbusters. Get off the anti-gay soapbox.

I like it. I liked the first film a lot and Gal Gadot was surprisingly effective.
I don't know about the villains, have to wait and see.
I wonder how they'll splain Trevor back after about 65 years.
Let's hope liberals haven't ruined this, too.

Definitely some propaganda going on with Maxwell Lord looking like Trump.
I'm curious as to how they'll contrive Steve Trevor back to life.
Is that Silver Swan at the end or is that Diana?

Looks OK. A bit Fast & Furious. Wish they stuck with the original version of Blue Monday

Didn’t know Pascal was in this...he doesn’t really look like Trump, though.

I am hoping it's a bit better than the first movie but I am not expecting it to be as given my impression from that trailer I would say it's likely going to be a 6/10 (a mild Thumbs Up) like the first movie is.
p.s. but what's a bunch of crap is how in the hell Captain Marvel (2019) made more $ than Wonder Woman (2017) did is beyond me as Wonder Woman is worth re-watching here and there as the years pass unlike Captain Marvel (2019) which is forgettable. you would think Gal Gadot's general presence alone would guarantee more $ than Brie Larson in Captain Marvel. hell, even that aside... I just tend to assume Wonder Woman is THE most known female super hero in general.

I wasn't blown away but either but enjoyed them. For me Captain Marvel stands up better to repeated viewings Why? She was not exactly that well known beyond a supporting role in a couple of F&F movies. Larson had just won an Oscar fairly recently and was part of a critically and financially successful franchise. No guarantee at all.

Meh! Gadot is lovely, but I am so over millennial super hero films. Seen one, seen em' all.

sostieYeah, don't get me wrong as while Wonder Woman is one of the better super hero movies for me straight up, I still only mildly like the movie at the end of the day. but after my initial viewing I could tell Captain Marvel is not worth re-watching (it was not bad, just nothing re-watch worthy and that's where movies are ultimately made or broke in my mind) where as I have seen Wonder Woman three times so far. Well I mostly said that because the Wonder Woman character is more known in general which gives the edge to Gadot right off the bat as I would not say either is all that known prior to their Wonder Woman/Captain Marvel stuff. plus, I just think Gadot has a better overall presence to. Larson is not bad, just not good enough to carry the movie into Thumbs Up status.

Enjoyed the 1st one (Gadot & Pine had tremendous chemistry ). The sequel looks like it could be a lot of fun as well (here's hoping Wiig doesn't ruin it).
