I regularly checked on Wiki's death columns to see if there are any celebrity passings. Well, Wiki has upgraded its site, and my browser (Safari) is outdated, so I cannot currently access the website. I have vision and mobility problems, but I will eventually go to the Apple Store nearest to me and get my browser upgraded, or changed. When that happens, I'll send out celebrity RIP's, as I have done many times before.
BTW, I learned on TV that actor Danny Aiello has died at age 86. May he rest in peace.

I wish you the best with your difficulties. Is eye surgery an option for you?

Yes it is, Ilan, and I thank you. I have cataracts in both eyes, but before surgery, I have to see a retinalogist.

Hang in there. I had cataracts a few years ago and surgery changed my life. I have had artificial lenses in each eye since 2015 and I don't even need to wear contacts anymore.

It would be great to have 20/20 (or close to it) vision, but I have had glasses since the age of 7, and it would feel kinda funny not to have to wear them any more.

Don't worry snsurone , we'll figure it out! I have an old 'puter myself that I have to restart over and over again, yet I can post pictures that you sometimes cannot see, LOL! Saying in a positive way: The room ain't the same without your posts!

Awww, you're sweet, tele! ;-)
I bought my current laptop in 2011, so it should have a couple of good years left. But I've still missed out on a number of things. Like the fact that actor David Hedison died last July at age 92. I'm not sure that Wiki even posted that!

You're sweet, too, Snsurone!
It's kind of you to keep us current, when you can. I learn of almost all celebrity passings, and other news on "Classic Film."
My best thoughts are with you on the outcome of your challenges.

Thank you, divital. But I do like to post other messages than death notices, LOL.

Alas, my 8-year old laptop has died, so I bought a new one. Boy, are Mac's expensive!
Anyway, Wiki and I are reunited, so there will be more obits from me. The first one was for the late Edd Byrnes.

Old laptops die quick and sudden! and one gets angry and yells, and says things one might regret later. I'm not young enough to remember Brylcream, hint Edd Nice to see you back!

"Brylcream, a little dab'll do ya. Brylcream, you look so debonaire. Brylcream, the gals will all pursue ya. They love to get their fingers in your hair." Yeah, I'm a baby-boomer, old enough to remember those old commercials. And I'm very happy to be back.

If you are home bound, a way to extend the life of a laptop is to remove the battery, use electric only, and unplug the electric and the internet connection after use.
I worked for IBM for 37 years and learned a few things in that timeframe.
