No I actually feel happier from October thru the end of December. January 1st is when it becomes depressing again.

I don’t get depressed around the holidays but I feel really bad for people that lost loved ones. That must be a difficult time

Too much emphasis is put on bulls<>t Christmas. It is just a big dry horrible marketing pill to swallow. It teaches children to be expectant, and not everyone has the same fortune or privilege, it is one big excuse for a piss up and to be gluttonous and why folks think it is so darn important, especially since it is based around 2 fantasies of a religious idol and Santa Claus, just goes to show how warped and deluded the world really is.

Plus from my experience people do tend to be nicer to each other around that time.

Whatever spirit Xmas is supposed to invoke, shouldn't this be a daily thing in our lives anyway.

I'm pretty much the same miserable all y ear. Too stupid to live! Lol. If anything, it's the super short days and their minimal daylight that we have here in the northeast, starting in November, peaking in a week, and dragging on through February, that are a not so great influence.

You reject the reality of Jesus Christ, so who's really deluded?
because when someone rejects the reality of God, they have a distorted view of reality. life lacks meaning as people don't have proper view of things and morals etc.
like people say... Jesus Christ is the reason for the season. but the secular world just tries to twist it and make it all about self/presents etc.

No, I love the holiday season and always try to make the best of it. I also tend to get awfully sentimental around Christmas when I'm with my family, I feel really happy that they're still around.

Toasted CheeseNo reality surrounding Jesus Christ? The popes can be traced back to Peter who's the first pope basically... www.newadvent.org/cathen/12272b.htmHe's[Jesus Christ] not exactly the average person since He's God (i.e. The Holy Trinity (Father/Son(Jesus Christ)/Holy Spirit)). so He speaks with authority as there is no one higher. but since many don't like self restraint they just sweep what He says under the rug. but one is either ultimately for God or against Him. you don't want to be on the wrong side of that when you pass from this life into the next
