I just heard something I've never seen or heard before in a football game.
The Rams got the ball at the start of the game, and WILL AGAIN get the ball at the start of the 2nd half.
Cowboys won the toss. According to the refs, instead of deferring, Dak said they would kick (Dak denies this). So now that choice goes to the Rams in the 2nd half, which means the Rams will get the ball at the start of both halves. Crazy.

Instant replay shows that Dak Prescott did in fact say "Defer" to the ref before the coin toss, so the refs got it wrong.
Now we even need instant replay for the damn coin toss.
