It doesn't really have good ratings on RT and such but I thought it was great. It's a mystery centered around an art auctioneer who becomes obsessed with a reclusive woman who hasn't seen human contact in years, and communicates with people through the walls of her home. I gave it a solid 8/10. The thing I liked about it the most was Ennio Moricone's absolutely gorgeous score, his best since Malena and far better than the one he won for The Hateful Eight. He really does bring his A game for Tornatore. It's used to perfection in the movie and there's one scene that blew me away as a result of the combination of the score and what happens in the scene itself. Here's my review of the film, if you're interested: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WKAK_vbgx4

Haven't gotten around to anything of his past Malena...(Love Malena, Legend of 1900 and Cinema Paradiso)

I find it beautiful and sad that the only women in Geoffrey Rush's character's life are the ones in the paintings. I own it on Blu-ray as I want to do with all Tornatore's movies but there are some that I cannot find Read more: IMDB2.freeforums.net/thread/20215/giuseppe-tornatores-best-offer#ixzz4emGydS3y
