Suggestions like The Fugitive (1993), The Vanishing (1988), Witness (1985) etc. would be highly appreciated.

I love all three of those flicks.
I lived where Witness was filmed for a bit (far Western County of Philly).
Seven - Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman.
Some people regard Silence of the Lambs as a thriller - I regard it Horror.

Bound - before the Matrix movies, before the Wachowski brothers became the Wachowski sisters, they made this great little suspenseful movie starring Jennifer Tilly, Gina Gershon, and Joe Pantoliano (also of the Matrix and the Fugitive). This movie has tension, mobsters, violence, and two hot chicks doing the girl on girl thing. Donβt miss it.

Seems you like Harrison Ford, though I'm not sure I would call The Fugitive or Witness thriller movies.
A movie that features Ford and I definitely consider a thriller would be What Lies Beneath. Not the scariest thing ever, but still a pretty creepy film. Worth watching, plus you got Michelle Pfeiffer, which I'm always happy with.

You are right. 2 of the movies I listed wouldn't be classic examples of thriller genre although there is an informal genre called action thriller and they fit in that. I actually wanted more of action-thrillers but even normal thrillers will do. I like Ford but mostly in action movies. Have not seen What Lies Beneath. Will check that out!

But I just checked on IMDB and it has a good rating (7.3) and good reviews. Girl on girl action is the best thing in the world. Will definitely check that one. Thanks!

That dude gave a seriously brilliant performance in a few minutes of screen time. Have not seen the second movie of the series. Is that also good? Seven was quite awesome. I am not a fan of Pitt but that movie is one in which I like him.

The definitive ranking order of Hannibal Lecter movies is as follows: 1. Silence of the Lambs 2. Red Dragon 3. Manhunter (it's pretty much the same movie as Red Dragon - just was made a lot earlier - so it's a little dated - still a good flick) 4. Hannibal 5. Hannibal Rising I highly recommend the TV show Hannibal as well

The Vanishing is shite. Itβs a remake of a Dutch film, Spoorloos, which is a hundred times better.

Funnily enough Iβm currently in the middle of Arlington Road (1999). I recommend it. Very taut thriller.

I retract my above statement.
I had no clue there were multiple versions.
The American version of The Vanishing had Sir Keifer Sutherland - so it hassss to be better...

The guy who plays the baddie in the original film is brilliant. Pees all over Jeff Bridges. Bridges was great in Arlington Road though, which I have just finished watching.

Midnight Run (1988)
Charles Grodin and Robert de Niro are a great pairing. A thriller but lots of laughs too.

What a great place to move the thread; a board that hasn't had a new post in a month, compared to an active and thriving board populated by people that the OP knows and values the opinions of.
