glad its ending. not that I give a shit. this in one saga that I will never know how it ends. That mary sue bitch needs to back to acting school. The next Cartie Henn indeed. Just take that pill overdose already. ! waaaaaah, get a grip on yourself dude. Both embarrassing and pathetic. More so than usual anyway.

I have just returned from watching the movie at the cinema. And frankly i enjoyed it more than i thought i would. I am sure plenty of people will hate it. But personally i thought it was a good movie. Its the best one of the Sequel trilogy in my personal opinion. I rate it 7.5/10 I feel the same. But I’d still give the edge to the other two in this trilogy.

Well at this point I'm not going to look at any more reviews. I've got an idea where critics and fans stand here. I'm basically going to go in with an open mind and just try to take the film as it is. Speaking for myself, I've liked the previous two films even though I won't say they're flawless so I think the odds are in my favor.
I will say I'm not a demanding moviegoer. I can be more forgiving of certain flaws than others. If a movie, say, is a retread of a previous film, doesn't do much new, has too many fan service stuff, etc., it doesn't necessarily kill my enjoyment of a film. I can still be entertained despite this stuff. If it's executed well and entertained me, then the movie has done its job. Plus, like with everyone else here, I've had many films come along where I've agreed with and disagreed with critics. Hell, this year I've disagreed with critics on popular films like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and The Irishman.
I'm speaking for myself here, but I've had a movies in a franchise come before that were beaten by critics and cause trepidation, but I've sat down and watched the film and was like "Well this isn't flawless, but it's certainly not that bad". The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is an example for me from recent memory.
Anyway, I'm basically saying that I think the best bet for anyone here that wants to see the film despite concern over reviews is to just go in with as open mind as possible and try to take it on its own terms. See an early showing at a cheap price if you're that concerned about disappointment. This way you won't feel like you've entirely wasted your day or money if you're disappointed. You're always rolling the dice every time you see a film. Hopefully you can go in and get your money's worth in the end. If you end up disappointed, then just pick up the pieces and move on.

I don't think it can get any truer than this:
I Agree however you should see the amount of Negative Video Reviews of the Movie there are on YOUTUBE right now (just type in the search box thee "Star Wars Rise of Skywalker Reviews".
Also, the RottenTomatoes score of the Movie is really giving the people who didn't like the Movie more reason to say Negative things about it.
you can't trust YouTube for reviews on Star Wars movies there's a whole community of YouTubers that make a lot of money bashing Star Wars

Just got done with the film. In a nutshell, a good movie and ended this trilogy well. Certainly not flawless nor a masterpiece, but definitely not as bad as critics are saying. I'd either rank it as first or second if I were ranking the films of this new trilogy.

As Leonard Maltin acknowledges, perfect in his capsule reviews. Family-orientated, deeply conservative and straight-forward. His affordable book was great pre-internet because it was affordable and pushed many to do their own research due to its glaring inadequacies. When you reach double digits in age you realise just how much is missing - much of what makes international cinema great. His interviews are still hilarious due to lack of research.

there is no wow (like with the original WOW-signal). Score has been frozen by RT at 86 % since over a week. You will find that on other big sites such as IMdb or Metaritic (5/10) with even more votes the audience score is significantly lower. RT did it like with CapMarvel to prevent a Last Jedi situation where the voting went rotten quickly and due to the bad word of mouth and rating caused an historic drop 2nd week.
