SPOILER for Episode 7 for anybody here that still hasn't watched it yet.
After seeing him force choke Gina Carano's character, I definitely got the impression that it is very possible that Baby Yoda could go to the Dark Side.
Not right now obviously but at some point down the road as he gets older.
What does everybody else here think ?

patience. Baby Yoda is only 50 earth years old, we will be wiser in say 800 years.

I think it opens the door for such a possibility. It’s always good to have more storytelling options. Especially in an episodic television series.. |

Something does happen in Episode 7 but what I am asking about is really more up to interpretation and impressions.

Too early to tell, we don't know how advanced his mind is compared to his body, if his body and mind are in sync and comparable to a humans, then despite his age he's still too "young" to know right from wrong, He saw Mando and Carano struggling with each other, last time he's really seen this is with the Mudhorn, he instinctively tried to protect Mando again in this instance, besides there's another instance in the episode where he shows an innate kind nature also, so to me it just shows the dangers of one so young being so powerful, the kid doesn't know how to react in certain situations which is not unusual for kids in that stage of their development, and I think that's actually an interesting thing to put in there, it's why raising the kid the right way is important, raise him well he may be the next Yoda, Obi Wan or Luke, raise him wrong and he could be the next Palpatine, Kylo or Vader. |

It's possible for anyone to go to the Dark Side. That's sort of the whole theme of the Star Wars saga.

patience. Baby Yoda is only 50 earth years old, we will be wiser in say 800 years. Yoda trained Jedi for 800 years. He was 900 years old when he died. So he was quite wise by the time he hit 200.
