It's the North Circular Road looking towards Ilford in Greater London (as the outer boroughs are known). It was a late Sunday evening which is why traffic is light.

I thought it was maybe Covid related light traffic and earlier. Nice photo !

This is a flood barrier at the mouth of a river that flows into the Thames. I wish they had built a small footbridge at the same time as that would have saved me a lot of walking.  |

 You have such a good eye for composition ! Is that one of the canals with the houseboats ? Do you know what the line of circles on the left are / were for ? They look like they have / had a purpose

You have such a good eye for composition ! Is that one of the canals with the houseboats ? It’s part of the Grand Union Canal. The path is very narrow and the cyclists don’t seem to care so I had to keep an ear open.

They look like they have / had a purpose The only thing I can think of is that they may be reflective studs to help people at night keep to the path but I can’t recall seeing them anywhere else. Mind you, I didn’t even notice them when I was taking the picture as I was too busy trying to keep the clouds in the picture while maintaining a vanishing point.
