Slight bias in favor of Palestine, mostly because I perceive them as the underdog in the current situation.

Palestine of course. Their land is under foreign occupation.

It's complicated.
Israel won their land fair and square in both diplomacy and battle.
However, they cannot pretend to extend an olive branch and then do nothing.
That said, no one has ever said what Palestine would even be comfortable with land wise. Plus many of them want dual citizenry which is silly.
I get the impression that one side is looking more at an all or nothing option which is an unacceptable solution.

I voted slightly in favor of Palestine but don't support all of their actions.

I support Israel. They actually have tried peaceful negotiations with Palestinians & give them some land. But the truth is, Muslims hate the idea of a non-Muslim country in their midst at all, & are hell-bent on getting rid of Israel entirely.

I'm rather neutral (as a non believer I find fights over "holy land" rather silly), I just don't see any reason the US should get involved.

I often confused you with OpiateOfTheMasses who probably is a Brit as I remember he participated quite a bit during the Brexit thingy.

I think Zionism was a stupid idea and should never have been taken seriously by any world leaders.
I don't think you should cater to anyone because of their religion.
A religion is just a set of personal beliefs, it should not entitle anyone to anything.

I think it's fair to say Palestine has the worse time of it and are seriously outgunned. But I think the real villains are the leaders of both sides who let innocents suffer for their own agendas.

I support Israel overall, but I'd really, really like to see both sides sit down and agree a two-state solution that the large majority can live with. Don't expect it to happen any time soon, though.

I am British and I have participated a lot in the Brexit debates. I am not lowtacks86 and to be fair I haven't even come across him very much previously (unless he used to go by a different name?). As for the OP I think the Isrealis are largely to blame for the situation, but I won't pretend to know enough about the details to be able to make too much of a comment on it.

Not saying that you are but I get confused sometimes. Lowtacks is also an old member but previously went by the name of low-tax. It seems that until now this poll favours Palestinian side by a slight majority. Edit: Didn't count 3 votes which were for neutral position and 2 for other position. So it is 8-7 in favour of Palestine when you only count votes which take stance favouring either of two (After first 20 votes).

i cannot support the further oppression of any people's, especially when 'holy lands' are involved.
and if israel continues to wander in the desert of their ignorance, forty years will seem like a long weekend compared to the destruction they bring onto themselves.

Back when I was in high school, I had friends who went to Israel on a tour group, & this girl their tour group was killed by Hamas terrorists.

Palestine. I've tried to be sympathetic to Israel, but I just can't understand their justifications.

Killing Germany and Japan wasn't enough. We had to steal completely unrelated Palestine and give it to The Jews. Of course at the time they were contemplating stealing Argentina and giving that to The Jews instead. I suppose all these "atheists" here would have been perfectly fine with The Jewish State Of israel no matter where it happened to reside geographically.

Slightly in favor of Israel, while not approving all their actions. I believe Israel treats women, homosexuals and apostates better than Palestina does.
