Dude, that was a Grateful Dead Christmas sweater with Jerry's face on the front and actual blinking Christmas lights on it. So Walton was doing the St Mary's game from San Francisco and was in rare form. There's a chance he may have been tripping tonight. I do feel for his broadcast partner because there's just not much room to really discuss the game in between Walton's ramblings. There was talk of the legend of the Irish, solstice talk, bike lanes in Elko, Nevada, meteor showers.....basically whatever pops into Bill's head. |

How bout the Johnnies beating Arizona last night? I'm telling ya, I don't like Arizona as long as they have that ginger at point guard. I ask you all, what team has ever won ANYTHING with a ginger at point guard?
And also San Diego State beats Utah handily a few days after the Utes took down Kentucky. I see San Diego State in the top-15 on Monday, inching closer to the top-10.
