one thing that always bugged is how everyone reacted to Gizmo. Here's this essentially unknown creature from China, and everyone acts like its no big deal. I mean, they just discovered a new creature, and yet they're all so calm and nonchalant about everything. I don't know...I just found that strange.

I don't know how you think they should have reacted. People don't generally lose their minds when they see an animal they haven't seen before when it's presented to them by the owner who tells them what it is. It's just an exotic animal to them. Maybe if one dropped on top of them from a tree or something, I could see a stronger reaction.

I always thought that was kinda weird too, they reacted to Gizmo like it was a puppy or something. If I saw something like that, I'd probably be saying "Good God almighty, what the fuck is that thing?!"

My reaction to Gizmo would've been, "OH MY GOD! WHAT AN ADORABLE CREATURE!"

he looks like a doll and has a human vocal cord voice. Most people would assume it's a toy.
I mean you get fancy toys that even deliver excrement today, hard to tell the difference (tip: often its the smell).
