I'm not talking about online, but in my everyday real life. I haven't heard someone say something interesting in years. It's all just meaningless niceties and random inane comments. When's the last time you heard someone say something interesting? are you saying you choose to hang out /associate with people who have nothing interesting to say, day after day, for years? why? |

Every single human being has something interesting to say. It’s somewhat arrogant to say otherwise and points more to a limitation on the receiving end. People with mental limitations have something interesting to say, murderers have something interesting to say, mute and deaf people have something interesting to say, toddlers and grandmothers too. The worst politicians imaginable and the most boring actresses have something interesting to say. The worst posters here or the dullest appearing cashiers in Walmart have something interesting to say. If you feel like nobody around you / most people around you say anything interesting in years I would really look for problem elsewhere... |

Maybe you have to follow the lead of the some of the successful posters here and be aggressive .. butt into conversations, disagree with what people have said or done just to get a conversation going … bet it might turn interesting … maybe not in a good way but ….

I don't know how much this interests you, but do you notice who is right handed vs. left handed? What about who is ambidextrous? I have been noticing lately that there are an awful lot of left handed actors and wondering if that in any way is connected to their entering the acting profession. It seems possible to me. I don't talk enough with left handed people to know what careers they choose. I imagine that many of them choose careers that require less specialization. Sports could be one way, because you can pitch or bat with both hands or you can shoot a basketball one way or the other without specializing like you would with a computer mouse or a guitar. Any left handers here could enlighten us as to what sort of profession they chose if they want.
