I don't know exactly how many trilogies we've had for the 2010's, but we've had some such as:
Star Wars Sequel Trilogy The Hobbit Trilogy John Wick Trilogy Gerard Butler "Fallen" Trilogy Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy etc.
Anyway, out of all the trilogies that have come out in the 2010's, which did you find the best and worst?

Although part of a larger series, I really dug the Captain America trilogy - First Avenger > Winter Soldier > Civil War

Off the top of my head the best has got to be Planet of the Apes.

Looked it up. After Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy there was nothing really satisfying - except of course the new Planets of the Apes trilogy (masterwork) which was better than it had any right to be. Ironically, the same guy who directed 2 & 3 (M Reeves) now works on another Batman film I believe.
John Wick is not my cup of tea, but it was groundbreaking for some and entertaining to watch at least once.
Worst and most disappointing are clearly the Star Wars sequel trilogy and some of the Marvel trilogies, these are formulaic cinematic junk food for the masses contradicting each other film per film. Disney sans some Pixar entries is just not for me.

The only trilogies I like all three movies (and are released in 2010-2019 time frame)... 1)John Wick (1st movie = 6.5-7/10, 2nd movie = 6/10, 3rd movie = 6/10. that's also the order of my preference) 2)Thor (all three movies are a 6/10 for me) so given others comments in here so far it appears I am pretty much inline with the others. Tristan's JournalIn my mind only the first one stands out even though I do mildly like the 2nd/3rd movies but it gets worse as the series moves forward. and most importantly... all three movies are worth re-watching. but, like I was saying, only the first movie is among My Favorite Movies in general (i.e. my Top 153 movies). p.s. I don't know if I would call John Wick groundbreaking, but it does what it does well, especially the first movie.
