BATouttaheck No word from Friend Michael. I've not yet given up hope, but--pretty close to it, let's say. Oh, I hope it's not another Sleuth singer! (I've actually found something similar, but probably easier: many years back [before I was a member there], there was someone searching on the Classic Horror Forum for the identities of the two people who played Capt. and Mrs. Armstrong in Murder on the Orient Express ['74]. IMDb didn't have that information either... Nooooooooooooo! )

Salzmank'74 Express IMDb "Cast (in credits order) verified as complete" <--- and no Armstrongs present. Remind me ... the Armstrongs are only shown in newsreels / newspaper clippings ... yes ? so it's a "who are these unknown actors / relatives of cast or crew in the images ? " type ? argh !

BATouttaheckYup, shown only in newsreels and clippings. This isn't one that bothers me half as much as the Sleuth singer, as these two don't have any lines--to wit, there's a reason they'd be uncredited. Unlike our old friend the Sleuth singer...

BATouttaheck , Salzmank I have the Suchet and Molina versions on computer, but not the '74 Finney one. Do you have a picture of the Armstrongs that can be shown here? Or by email? If they're UK actors I might recognise them.

alfromniThe picture of the Captain isn't very good in either image but there are two of Mrs.Armstrong. Good luck!

alfromni clicking: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Bingham,_7th_Earl_of_LucanTook me here ... certainly not the same guy John Armor Bingham (January 21, 1815 – March 19, 1900) was an American Republican Representative from Ohio, an assistant to Judge Advocate General in the trial of the Abraham Lincoln assassination, and a prosecutor in the impeachment trials of Andrew Johnson. He is also the principal framer of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. trying this one en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Bingham,_7th_Earl_of_Lucan drat -- it won't "take" the last part. Google Lord Lucan -- that works

SalzmankI'm leaning towards thinking that the Armstrongs are not "anyone". The Lucan story complete with zoo tiger eating him post suicide.... I checked to see if it was an April 1 article. 'Twasn't.

Salzmank ----- New Search --- Why not? Widen the search. BATouttaheck --- Armstrongs --- As said I don't have the movie. Do they move on screen or do they just appear as stills?

I only remember the stills ... or perhaps a clip from a "newsreel" ? alfromni Those I posted were the only images on google image.

There was actually film footage (as well as "newsreel" footage) of them, if I remember correctly.

If a silent "newsreel" then they may have simply used extras. If stills then snaps from anyone's granny's photo album would suffice. :-)
