People magazine recently named Julia Roberts the "World's Most Beautiful Woman of 2017".
What do you think of this choice?
Do you agree with this choice? Bear in mind this has been the fifth time she's been chosen as the world's most beautiful woman by People magazine.
Here’s the statement from Jess Cagle, the editorial director of People: “At 49, Julia has never looked better. Her beauty also lies in her self-assurance and smarts and good humor… And it lies in her family-first ethos: Despite all the delights, distractions and temptations of an impossibly privileged existence, nothing ignites her famous smile more than game nights with her kids.”

All the drop dead beautiful women on this planet and this is like the 5th time they've chosen her. Really? It's the best they could do?

Sorry, but I do not understand PEOPLE'S fascination with her.
I once saw her on Broadway in a three-hander play called THREE DAYS OF RAIN. I thought she would be radiant ( because of some of her early work) but she was outshone by two actors who I was not familiar with at that time -- Paul Rudd and Bradley Cooper. I ranked her lackluster performance and stage presence the last, with Rudd as #1 and Cooper as # 2.

She wasn't beautiful even in her heydays. She was just okay who is still riding on the success and fame that she got from "Pretty Woman". She is also a very nasty person in real life.
