Less than a month ago Atlanta had the 5th pick with a great chance of climbing to a top 3 pick. Now after numerous pointless fucking wins that did NOTHING at all in any way to improve the team they are picking 16th with the added bonus of retaining their idiot head coach and clueless GM. Hoo FUCKING Ray.
The team was incapable of beating or even slowing down anyone until they had no chance of going to the playoffs then suddenly the damn idiots decide they love Dan Quinn and want to save his job so he can continue to be one of the worst head coaches in the NFL. Amazingly now the shitheads can not only win, they kick arch rival New Orleans ass in New Orleans That's not miraculous enough for the fuck up Falcons though. They also beat San Francisco in SF.
So something to play for and Atlanta can't buy a win. Season is lost and Atlanta can beat the best teams in the NFC when those teams are trying to lock down home field advantage. What the actual fuck?!!!! Top 5 pick player can have an impact for a team and vastly improve said team. At 16 you're hoping the guy might eventually be a starter or at least competent.
The "joy' of being a Falcons fan. Did I mention they were in the Super Bowl a few years ago? At least billionaire owner Artie Blank gets to continue being being friends with DQ and TD. Artie hates firing people. Better to reward complacency and incompetence, right? Paying guys to underperform is the perfect way to make them get better after all.
End rant. For now.

It's going to be interesting to see where Tua falls in this draft. The Dolphins and Chargers are right there at 5 and 6 primed for a future QB. I could see a team like the Lions or Giants trading down allowing a team like the Chargers to get ahead of Miami to take Tua. I think we could see a top 5 along the lines of this
1) Joe Burrow 2) Chase Young 3) Jeff Okudah 4) Tua Tagovailoa (Chargers Trade Up) 5) Justin Herbert
I could also see Miami taking something else at 5 as outside of maybe Oakland, Indy, or Tampa there isn't really a QB needy team in the bunch so maybe Herbert could fall to their second pick at 18.

I’m very curious to see where Tua and Herbert go as well. It’s clear that the Bengals will take Burrow at #1 and the Redskins will likely take Chase Young at #2, after that things get interesting, I wonder if the Giants or Lions might trade their pick to a team picking lower so they can draft Tua or Herbert. A team like the Panthers could use a franchise QB, I wonder if they might jump ahead of the Chargers and Dolphins.

Miami might have to take him at 5 if the Chargers were to trade in front of them like I proposed. Doubt Herbert would fall out of the top 10 after realizing that Carolina needs a QB too. I do wonder, is there a 4th QB that's a first rounder this year? I know Jordan Love was getting some love not too long ago but then he got ratted out by class mates and was busted for weed if I remember correctly. So that'll be a red flag for GM's come combine and draft time. After him I'm not sure. Jalen Hurts maybe?

I’ve heard a lot of Rivers to Indy buzz. He’d certainly be playing behind a good offensive line and should at least be more accurate than Brissett. It’d help if the WR corps can make it through a season healthy. Might be worth a shot even if it’s just for one season.

Do the Colts have the weapons for Rivers to just sling it like he has with the Chargers? Rivers reminds me of Favre. He'll just throw it at times and hope a receiver is in the area to make the play. With a good offensive line like the Colts have they should be a run first team. Is Rivers the guy to do that? That doesn't seem like the best idea but that's just my opinion. I also haven't seen the Rivers to Indy buzz at all. I don't think the Colts are a Rivers away from a Super Bowl so I don't think I'd be rooting for that.

Where's Buffalo picking? I'm used to seeing them in the first draft order. Bills need a big play receiver and the draft is chuck full of them. But the team is drafting so late. I wouldn't mind seeing them move up. But not for the Alabama ones, Jeury and Ruggs. The Bills haven't had luck with Bama players. Reggie Ragland (gave up too quick on him), Marcell Darius, Cyrus Kouandjio.
I thought Miami was a sure thing for #1 a few weeks ago. It will be interesting to see what happens to the other QB's go, Tua and Herbert. I'm not sure what's up with Justin Herbert. I thought he was looked upon as a top five pick in '19. Not now. But teams get a stiffy for a QB and ignoe the obvious warts. See Russell, JaMarcus for an example. Might be sweet to be Detroit or the Giants, not needing a QB. Washington won't trade out of #2 and pass on Chase Young. Young might be a better NFL prospect than Burrow. He's supposed to be miles ahead of the Bosa's

As much as I'd rather see him retire, the only place I could actually see for Eli to play again would be Indy as they figure out who their next guy will be.
