His face was too punchable and he was just so terribly, painfully bland. Whatever floats your boat. I just don't get it. |

His face was too punchable and he was just so terribly, painfully bland. Whatever floats your boat. I just don't get it. A thousand per cent no disrespect intended to people who like him, but I agree. I found him kind of dull too. Monotone, bland. He's fine but literally just that. He didn't bring me in but I wouldn't say he was bad either. Just kind of generic.
He's quite polished. I'll say that. He does have a breeziness about his delivery that makes it look simple even though it's probably very difficult. He's nailed the accessible part but perhaps at the expense of going too far beneath surface level.
To each their own.

He's a good reviewer as long as he keeps it straight and doesn't try to act or make dumb faces. My go to channel next to Redlettermedia, Mark Kermode and Good Bad Flicks.
People here seem fond of Jeremy Jahns but I can't stand that ADD dipshit.
Same goes for Nostalgia Critic (tries too hard to be funny) and Angry Joe (doesn't understand movies where you have to use your brain).
