American actor Warren Berlinger has left us at the age of 83, on December 2nd. He appeared in both the Broadway stage and Hollywood movie productions of Blue Denim (winning a Theatre World Award for the stage version), and also Happy Time, Anniversary Waltz (later adapted as the movie Happy Anniversary), and Come Blow Your Horn in 1961. He also performed in the 1963 London stage production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying at the Shaftesbury Theatre. His career as a character actor began in 1956 with the film Teenage Rebel, and continued in movies like Because They're Young 1960, The Wackiest Ship In The Army 1960, Billie 1965 and Thunder Alley 1967. Rafer Johnson took the gun away from and helped restrain Sirhan Sirhan after Sirhan shot and mortally wounded Senator Robert F. Kennedy. He was a true hero in more ways than one. RIP, Mr. Johnson

He appeared as Toad in the 1974 film Stone, the main antagonist Toecutter in the 1979 film Mad Max, the main antagonist "Immortan Joe" in the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road, and Grunchlk on the science fiction television series Farscape 2000 - 2001. Canadian composer André Gagnon has left us at the age of 84, on December 3rd. He was known for his fusion of classical and pop styles. For movies he composed the music for the soundtracks of Running 1979, Phobia 1980, The Hot Touch 1981 and Tell Me That You Love Me 1983, plus many documentaries and Canadian TV-series. German actress Jutta Lampe has left us at the age of 82, on December 2nd. She worked at the Berlin Schaubühne for around three decades, until 1999. In movies she played the lead in Sisters, or the Balance of Happiness ( Schwestern oder Die Balance des Glücks) 1979 and The German Sisters ( Die bleierne Zeit) 1981, both directed by Margarethe von Trotta, among other movies and on television. Mr. Andrew "Squiggy" Squiggman was one of my favorite sitcom supporting characters; Mr. Lander also appeared as the sportscaster in one of my favorite films, A League of Their Own. R.I.P.
