Italian film producer and former actor, Gianni Minervini, has left us at the age of 91, on February 4th. He won three David di Donatello Awards for best producer, Fuori stagione 1982, Where's Picone? 1984 and On Tour 1990. He also won a Nastro d'Argento in 1984 for the production of Where's Picone?. Mr. Norman Perlmutter is STILL ALIVE and KICKING at the AGE of 105!!!! IF he's STILL ALIVE and KICKING in the year 2024 at the AGE of 109 (turning 110 on November 8th) he WILL have been in show business for OVER A CENTURY (100 years+)!!! He started in 1923 at the AGE of 9.

He worked for the International Atomic Energy Agency and inspected sites in many parts of the world to see that nuclear weapons weren't being made. Of course, not every country complied. Anyway, in Bud Collyer's introduction to the segment he referred to my father as a "nuclear Dick Tracy" which caused my father to laugh when we watched it air a few weeks later.

He was also a game show and talk show host, and a "mainstay of Los Angeles’s small theater scene". He appeared frequently on several televised game shows from the 1960s through the 1980s and was a long-time panelist on the television game show To Tell the Truth. "A storyteller par excellence". he was a favorite of Johnny Carson, appearing on The Tonight Show over 200 times. His passing was tragically in a traffic accident. She wrote for the sitcoms The Second Hundred Years, My Favorite Martian, All in the Family, Bewitched and many others, starting with in 1963 with the animated Krazy Kat and Snuffy Smith and Barney Google series.
