She really should be mentioned with the other female badasses of film. She deserves a spot in that conversation, in my opinion. And she looked darn good in that movie, too.

As many times as I seen it, it's still weird she's even in that movie. Missed opportunity for her to do some action stuff instead of that crappy sitcom.

This was Reba's first acting role. Unless you count a guest appearance on the New Mickey Mouse Club the previous year

Her only appearance in the entire Tremors series, even though her character survives and is married to the Michael Gross character, who is in every one of the sequels.

The Scene Below of her and Michael Gross from "TREMORS" is actually My own Number 1 Favorite Scene from the Movie.

One drawback on Reba: A close personal friend of mine, wrote her a letter with a self addressed reply envelope requesting an autograph that my friend would give to his wife on the event of her 40th birthday because my friends wife is/was a huge Reba fan. The reply, from Reba (or one of her toadies) requested money before she would comply with the request.
On the flip side, my friend had a quest to collect 40 autos by sending those self addressed envelopes to many celebrities. Reba was the only one who denied the request. Celebs like Fran Sinatra and Sly Stallone replied without a problem. He did make his 40 celeb autos and presented the scrapbook to his wife on her 40th birthday. Naturally, this all occurred when "the Chairman of the Board" was still alive.

Yeah Reba was great there and Man do I love that movie! such a 50's throwback sci-fi Horror with hilarious characters and great small desert town setting.

That's so good. Talk about a movie that doesn't get enough attention.

It's diverting enough but the comedic spin probably hurts its longevity. The humor is often too self-aware. It's the Leslie Nielsen curse. He was hilarious when he played it straight, but when he is in on the joke it is ruined. Some of the delivery in the film (Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon) are too cutesy. Not the case with Gross and McEntire from what I remember--the gun scene is what I remember best about it, not Ward or Bacon.

While I love the movie personally, it needed less cheese and more pulp. You never hear people talk about it and maybe the cheese factor is why. The gun scene is frickin great though.

I hear nothing but positivity about this movie. It's basically a classic. It has a great mix of thrills and comedy with great chemistry with Bacon and Ward and really good practical effects.

I don't know anyone that doesn't like it, but when was the last time you saw this movie mentioned here. I feel like it never gets mentioned or talked about, even in creature feature discussions. I guess I could be wrong though.

Anyone here watch "King of the Hill"? I swear Burt had to have been the inspiration for Dale Gribble.
