What's the video quality like on these betting sites? How many cameras? Do you need to have a line on the particular match to be able to watch it? The quality is the same as on TV, very good. There is about a ten second delay for the traders' to adjust the odds according to the real-time action. There isn't normally any commentary, but this is okay because you hear all the crowd noises and sometimes the voices of the players/dugout when things get heated. I honestly can't see how showing games (and there is always at least one game from around the world being shown - La Liga, Bundesliga, European leagues, worldwide leagues) makes punters more irresponsible in their betting. They are going to punt regardless of any live match being shown. I'll get criticized for that but persistent problem punters do not sit idly through 90 minutes of football when they could be placing one bet after the other on various sports on the site. Far better would be to outlaw VIP 'gifts/free bets' to losing customers who then get added incentive to be lured again into betting having just lost a big wad on something.

PS - same amount of cameras as on normal TV coverage. They are paying for the same coverage that you will see later on MOTD highlights, so all angles are covered.
PPS - your account can be empty and you can still watch, no bet required.

Cheers, dude! Which one do you usually use to watch matched? Bet365? I have an account with Coral so can only watch matches on their site if I want. But I refuse to sign up for a credit card account. Instead, Coral offers a kind of pay as you go account. You get your card in the shop, they register it, you put money on it, then bet online using your credit. It's just like a standard account except you cannot go into the red with a credit/debit card. You can top up your account with a CC online but I never do. When I need to put funds in I go to the shop, hand over my wedge, she puts it on the card and my online account is immediately topped up. If you want to withdraw winnings you just pop along to the shop and present your card to the girl. Simple, and much safer than using a bank card with funds that you can't always keep track of.

Well, this is a bollix, isn't it. Man City v Fulham and Bristol City/Shrewsbury v Liverpool - the BBC choice of live 4th round games, one straight after the other. So predictable. Give me Millwall v Sheff Utd or Bournemouth v Arsenal, even Slaven Bilic's return to West Ham with WBA. Man City and Liverpool versus considerably weaker opposition...what a waste.
BT have got it right with the Watford/Tranmere Rovers v Wolves/Man U, and Bournemouth v Arsenal.

But what about this? Came on here before setting out to see all the NFL boys squabbling over Superbowl. Not many threads, I thought. Might be a bit subdued for the Kobe Bryant situation, fair enough. But then I'm thinking every year the first two pages are rammed with threads. So I checked. The son of a bitch is on the 2nd of Feb. Jesus actual Christ. Prepare thyself.

Yeah another fuckin week to go. My idea of a super bowl :
I like that bowling sport. I watched a bit of it a few times and you do get a buzz when he gets the ball right next to the other ball and then the other fella just whacks his ball to ruin everything. I would stay up till 3am if that was the SuperBowl sport no problem
