Black Panther is still an embarrassing movie to Joker King of comedy remake. Black Panther is a true superhero movie. The first and only one to ever receive a best picture Oscar nomination. Every single person who voted for it was an adult with more knowledge of cinema than you. Joker is a remake? You mean it's not even original material? ... and it's not about a super villain? No super heroes? Just a failed comedian with mental issues. Why are we even talking about it on this board?

Who takes them "seriously"? We just like to watch them. The people that take them seriously are the ones that claim to hate them. Why do you think most people like the MCU over the X-men movies and the DCEU? Comic books are fantasy and they treat the movies as such. They tried to ground the other movies too much and it took the fun and fantasy out of it to make them "real". Yes there are feels and such in the movies, but the movies themselves are fun escapism.
Don't sit there and try to equate us talking about them and telling you guys that what you say about them is wrong, to us taking them "seriously". No movie should be taken seriously. Well, unless it's a snuff film.
Truthfully the only people who like xmen movies over mcu are kids. True

Endgame is a joke compared to the much grounded DOFP or Spiderman 2.

Sam Raimi's Spiderman were not like theme parks animation. MCU movies are. Sam Raimi made peter Parker a grounded character with real human day problems. MCU Spiderman belongs on Disney tv singing songs with Disney princess.
People as in comic fans were just glad they were getting good marvel films with spiderman and xmen , they hardly liked on over the other. MCU marvel movies are hatred everywhere. hated by even adult Marvel fans who are very embrassed that Disney has turned mcu too immature comedy.
Scorsese could have said what he said when there was no MCU. He got a lot of blacklash so he tried to generalise but his first statement said it all that he hated MCU movies.
