I think I've argued with every user on this board about this already, but I'll say it again: there's a difference between nuanced political angles and moral messages mixed seamlessly within characters in a narrative, and blatant, annoying preaching done with the subtly of a sledgehammer to the jaw.
The former is something I respect and - as your image points out - has been around since the creation of cinema (or any entertainment medium for that matter). The latter is unbearable and the product of lazy writing.
