Not only do I believe that the Iron Man Trilogy is a much better set of comic book movies than the Christopher Nolan Batman Trilogy...but I also find them to be a much set of movies in general overall.
I mean what more can I say??? I genuinely enjoyed the Iron Man trilogy and they are certainly have a lot of flaws and are far from perfect...I just feel that the Iron Man trilogy did a MUCH BETTER job (as well as the rest of the movies in the MCU with Iron Man in them) of selling the Iron Man character to me than the Christopher Nolan did selling his version of Batman to me.

The Dark Knight Rises is easily the weakest of Nolan's Batman films and it's still better than the best Iron Man movie.

Not a chance, for me personally. But I like both. I'm one of so so many people who likes Iron Man 3 quite a lot, more so than a lot of Marvel fans because of the Mandarin twist. It's one of my preferred and better movies within the MCU, so in the politest possible way, I barely even consider it a contest between the two.
I do take joy when people like movies so to each their own.

I think the Nolan trilogy has the best handful of movies, so I give the edge to that. Ranking of all 6 movies:
1. TDK 2. IM 3. TDKR 4. BB 5. IM3 6. IM2

I agree with OP, don't give a crap who thinks what of my taste. The Nolan trilogy is a great crime saga that just happens to have Batman in it.

IM2 & IM3 aren't in my essential MCU. I doubt I'll ever re-watch them again.

Even as someone who likes Iron Man 3 and hates TDKR, I can't agree.

I prefer Christopher Nolan's "BATMAN" Trilogy and I actually love "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES".

what a joke, only the first Iron Man is good Pretty sure you recently said something like "others prefer different films" implying people are allowed to prefer different movies, heβs allowed to prefer the Iron Man Trilogy, hypocrite.

The first Iron Man movie is very good. Probably my second favourite MCU movie to date, in fact. Bear in mind there are a good few later ones that I haven't seen yet. Robert Downey Jr. was born to play the role of Tony Stark and I felt the movie balanced the light and dark aspects extremely well.
Iron Man 2, on the other hand, was a directionless mess. It tried to do too many things and largely failed in so trying.
Iron Man 3 looked promising early on, but the cartoonish action sequences and the ludicrous twist - which effectively ruined one of the franchise's most iconic characters and killed most of the tension - finished that off pretty quickly.
Batman Begins, on the other hand, was a fantastic crime thriller-cum-superhero origin story that made Batman feel both believable and spectacular all at the same time.
And I would class The Dark Knight as the most epic movie of the 2000s decade, featuring as it does such a daringly twisted rendition of the Joker.
I have not yet seen The Dark Knight Rises, so cannot comment on that one.
All in all, I much prefer the Nolan movies.

no, just no. Note even close. While I do not care much either for Nolan or his Batman, The Dark Knight trilogy is ranked amongst the best movie trilogies in film history - while nobody would seriously claim that about the messy Iron Man movies, especialyl as a trilogy. TDK trilogy gives you the impression that superhero movies can be great, mature cinema. The weakest parts of TDK trilogy are way stronger than the best ones in the Iron Man trilogy. You are entitled to your minority opinion and biases though.
