When the toilet paper roll is empty, and there are no replacement rolls within reach...
"Who You Going To Call?"
Toilet Paper Fetching Robots!
Sadly, They're Not Yet Available To Consumers...

That could be beneficial and all. but I wonder how people let themselves get into that situation in the first place, especially at their own home. I tend to keep at least one to two backups sitting on the toilet to help ensure I won't ever run out. or when I know I got to go I generally make a quick check to make sure I am good to go. so unless someone is in a major emergency to where they got to go quite bad to where they can't check, they should be good.

I was wondering something similar... It's a great idea in concept and would be usefull, but the reality is... As you say, most people have spare rolls in their home within reach. So, probably, most people won't need these for their homes... That leaves public restrooms or employee restrooms... Well, yes, I have come across some toilet stalls over the years that seem to be running low on Toilet Paper, and there doesn't seem to be any extra rolls around... However... An APP to call for a robot? Not likely. These robots would have to be specially programmed with their own frequencies, and you would probably wouldn't be able to gain access to them anyway. So THAT would pointless... Even if you could call for a robot, perhaps from a Call Button installed in each stall... Many public facilities are easily trashed by patrons who don't give a shit, because it isn't their home... And, so I can easily see people damaging these droids by throwing them around and being destroyed with the first week. I doubt many businesses will be willing to spend money on new robots every week, for every restroom that they have. We'll see, if these become common place, or just novelty items.

MCDemuthSadly, many have little to no respect for others nowadays. hell, even if it's their own property, many still semi-abuse stuff. I always have taken care of crap I own or borrow from others etc.

That would be one of the most inventions ever created.

Just in time for the COVID-19 crisis. Is there a larger model that can retrieve a 48 roll pack from the store? With frickin laser beams that can fend off anyone who gets in the way?
