I have a few friends who have been extras over the years. A guy from work named Dan fills up the screen for a full minute in a seaside scene in Amelia (2009). A childhood friend dressed as a punk rocker waiting for a rock star to appear in Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal (2001). A friend is an extra in The Jackal (1997) in the train station scene. A friend of my roommate, her ex-husband was a cop killed in the opening scene of some episode of The X-Files. I probably have some that I don't know but I'd have to think about and It's Friday, so...  |

Check out Jim Belushi hogging as much camera time as possible when he was an extra in The Fury. And it costed him the job.
