Wow! That has everything - Eastern, classical, funk, church organ, medieval psych! Thanks, man! Hi cypher/! I'm up late as it's a bank holiday here in England tomorrow, so I don't need to get up early for work tomorrow. I'm currently listening to Love and sipping on gin and vodka (also Spirit thanks to you), they were such a multi-talented band.
Hope you're doing well - I love that '60s Rats anthem you posted, 'Gotta Get Back' by a band called The Good Rats, never heard that till today.

Memorial weekend here. Listening to some tunes, sipping on red. Enjoy the rest of the bank holiday...

If Randy California, Jimi Hendrix and Arthur Lee had departed their recognised musical units to start a new band together, could it have worked? Sure.

I think Randy and Jimi were possibly going to get together, but then again, Miles Davis was aknocking. A bit of resentment from Arthur, though. Thinking about the possibilities that Jimi could have gone on to if he hadn't died, is fun to think about.

I mean, all these guys like California, Hendrix, Lee and Davis were near the top of their game. Speaking of which, check out my Todd Rundgren celebration threads hear (here?) and on Classic Film for his impending entrance (induction?) into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in CLEVELAND, OHIO. "Todd is Godd" never sounded better!
(also see my Memorial Day inspired post regarding the late, great Charles Durning on the imdb2 History board)
Take care and psych out!!

Fanfu(n)ckintastic! Hammer, head and nail... Never heard of 'em. Have I found a new entry to the top 5, quite possibly. Give me a couple more listens, but I really don't see why not. What more can I say, without embarrassing myself, but, wow, wow, wowww! The drums, though. Yeah, you know what I like! Thanks! Again.......

I'm actually relieved as I thought it was nailed on that you'd like that particular album as I know you like hard, heavy rock and distorted guitars that sing. Awesome - so glad you enjoyed it! I think it's terrific too.
(and hope you're having a nice weekend)
