Your gonna think I'm crazy but I think that it actually worked out well for William Shatner when it comes to his size and weight.
He didn't start getting BIGGER until the 2nd "STAR TREK" Movie ("The Wrath of Khan") and that along with the 4th ("The Voyage Home") and 6th ("The Undiscovered Country") "STAR TREK" Movies are considered to be Some of the Best and Most Popular Movies in the whole "STAR TREK" Movie Franchise.

For once, we agree about something. People often get a little rounder as they age.That is not necessarily "getting fat." I am about 15 pounds over what I was 20 years ago but still at a fighting weight.

It's funny, I NEVER can spot James Doohan in other shows-he was in the Man in the Wilderness and a tv movie during Star Trek's run and didnt realize it was him until the credits.
