Big match...
Shrewsbury Town - Bristol City
FA Cup 3rd Round replay.
The winner gets the huge prize of a 4th Round home tie against Liverpool.
Win for Bristol City this evening, and I can start the futile search for a ticket for what will be a sell out at Ashton Gate up the road.
Was a nightmare when Man City came... tickets released in batches based on number of games you had been to... non-regular fans like myself had to wait for the general sale batches.
I remember it well. Log on to the ticket site seconds after 1,000 seats go on sale... "You are 4,632 in the queue" ☹️
Resort to trying to get a re-sale ticket... people wanting hundreds of pounds for a £35 face value ticket.
Realise the futility of trying, and give up 😉
Even if you get a ticket, you go expecting to see the likes of Salah, Firmino, and Mane playing... and they put out a bunch of kids and fringe players.
At least if Shrewsbury win tonight, I won't have to go through the fruitless struggle of trying to get a ticket for the Liverpool game.

It's your only chance of getting a ticket for games like that if you're not an Ashton Gate regular. No chance in the general sale batches. They get snapped up quicker than you can hit 'refresh' the instant they go on sale. |

No idea if it's being streamed on one of these here betting website things they've been on about 🤷♀️ Radio commentary is available online on both BBC Radio Bristol, and BBC Radio Shropshire... (note the Radio Bristol commentary will fluctuate between this game and the Coventry City - Bristol Rovers replay). |

They have let everyone down. They need to go and sit on the naughty step, and have a good long think about all the disappointment they have caused.
