Toshirô Mifune was in 16 Akira Kurosawa movies
Robert De Niro has been in 9 Martin Scorsese movies and Leonardo DiCaprio has been in 5. They're apparently starting one soon that will raise it to 10 and 6 respectively.

Robert De Niro has been in 9 Martin Scorsese movies and Leonardo DiCaprio has been in 5. They're apparently starting one soon that will raise it to 10 and 6 respectively. Takashi Shimura is in 16 too.

Takashi Shimura is in 16 too. I was checking to see how many he was in because I didn't know for sure. It looks like he was actually in 20.
