The winners last decade were, unsurprisingly Matthew Ashford who returned in 2001 and runner-up Melissa Reeves who returned in 2000. There's been a lot more comings and goings this decade, I think.
And a lot of the actors have returned more than once. Matt, Eileen, Nadia, Thaao, Stephen and maybe more came back twice. Drake came back a whopping three times. So... choose your favorite of those, I guess. For ease, I'm only including people who came back on contract. If I chose everyone who visited this would be too long. It already is!

Oh. Oops. I see now I usually do this as character returns, not actor returns. Well, I think actor returns are more fun. Otherwise if I did "Kristen DiMera" it's like you're voting for Eileen and Stacy, etc.
I voted for Matt, Chandler and Bryan. Jack and Will's deaths were both travesties that needed to be undone. Meanwhile, Peter didn't get a vote because Bo's return was solely to kill him off... and I think it's pretty clear to see based on the past few years that they'd have been better served just writing Kristian off with him and giving Bope a HEA.
