A few years back I went to see the second John Wick movie at a drive-in near my hometown that I had last visited as a child perhaps 45 years before. I was confused when I couldn't find the little speaker you hang on your window. Fortunately, someone set me straight before the feature started.

The last time I went to one was a couple years ago to see Jurassic World. Ironically the first time was to see Jurassic Park at the exact same drive-in.

The only drive-in I've ever been to is the one at McDonald's.
We don't have movie drive-in's here.

When I was a kid there were still a couple near us. I saw Empire Strikes Back and Smokey and the Bandit Part 2 (the ones I remember). Funny thing I remember is to this day my Dad said he should have bought a Pontiac Trans Am in '79 and just shoved my brother and I into those tiny seats instead of buying the Pontiac Le Mans station wagon he bought instead. I think he secretly wanted to be the Bandit...
Hurricane Alicia hit the Gulf Coast in '83 and wiped out the drive ins that were near us. They were never rebuilt. The marquee at the entrance of one of them said "Gone With The Wind" shortly afterwards.
