It's perfectly legitimate to believe that a high-school athlete can start taking performance enhancing drugs, even though you might not want to believe it. There's absolutely no evidence. it's a baseless accusation designed to do nothing but tarnish a great players who has shown nothing but class.
We can't have nice things, can we?
For many people, it's much easier to label people like Bonds, Clemens, and Sosa cheaters. Their personalities fit the mode much more naturally. Folks don't want to think that "good people" can bend rules as easily as a jerk like Barry Bonds can. The real world is a more complicated place, however. And just because someone has never been caught cheating, it doesn't mean that they weren't. Think back to high school, were the only people cheating on tests the ones who got busted?

Steroids and HGH can turn nice people into assholes. Read about what it did to Lyle Alzado. So far, Trout hasn't shown any evidence of juicing. Not close to 50 HR's, let alone 60 or 70. No daily tape measure shots. He hasn't been brittle. Just the accusation of Trevor Bauer. He's believable

But there's also at least the slightest modicum of evidence regarding Bonds, Clemens and Sosa, whereas for Trout there isn't any. Plus, who thinks Sammy Sosa is a jerk? He's just got that weird pigmentation thing, but I don't think I've ever heard anyone say they didn't like Sosa. Bonds and Clemens, sure. While it's true, just because someone hasn't failed a test doesn't mean they aren't cheating....but that doesn't automatically mean they ARE cheating either.

Apparently he was a giant douche and his teammates didn't like him.

Forget that he's Mike Trout aka America's Favorite Baseball Player for just a minute. And then look at him, objectively without any bias, especially with his helmet off. Does his body resemble those that were known juicers? Cuz it sure does to me, and has ever since I first saw him play. I don't think every great player in baseball is juicing. Guys like Bellinger, Bryant, Betts, Arenado, even sign stealers like Altuve and Bregman, they don't look like juicers to me. Mike Trout? Sorry, but that's a different story.

Bonds and Clemens were both assholes long before they took steroids. And one can make an argument that Mike Trout has been kinda brittle, considering he's missed large chunks of games in most every season he's been in the league.

Eh, I hear you, I just don't agree is all. I know plenty of guys who take roids and they're so big they can hardly move. Oh well, agree to disagree! My office is closed today for the holiday so I'm working from home, and I just fell down the stairs about an hour ago, like really fucking hard. I dunno, I just slipped on the top step and fell ass-first a few steps lower, my side smashed into the steps and then I crashed down on the floor, using my shoulder to kinda break my fall. At first, I thought I broke my ribs and then maybe my hip, I came down really hard on it. A few minutes of just staying still and letting the shock subside, and I'm somehow miraculously fine. I'll probably be a bit sore tomorrow but that's it. I'm on roids!!

Trout doesn't look like Jose Cruz Jr., who was busted for PED's, but the other guys you listed do.

Where is the evidence that Trout juiced? There is no evidence that Trout has ever juiced, I never said there was, but this thread (and the story that inspired it) is not the first time that Mike Trout's name has been brought up with juicing. I'm not gonna say that I'm 100% certain that he has or not, I just believe that he has. And even if he is a juicer, it doesn't take away from the fact that he is a tremendously gifted baseball player.

Maybe he's just more old-school?

Maybe he's just more old-school? Jose Cruz Jr., all 190 whopping lbs, was Bonds era. Shawn Green was on the 103 list, 6'4" and 190lbs. Body type isn't everything. Size isn't definitive of steroid use.

I do believe in steroid head, though, and Mike Trout got steroid head. Doesn't mean he's guilty, just saying he has one. Brett Gardner, he got steroid head.
