Hopefully they decide to just make it a spin-off film again.

Oh, well KK didn't like the scripts, so this must be the right decision. She really knows her Star Wars! Seriously, why the hell is she still there and being allowed to sabotage projects?

Even she is probably smart enough to know that a series about Obi-Wan in hiding pretending to be a moisture farmer probably isn't that exciting of a premise....

Ewan is still young and playing a Jedi Master, the possibilities for awesome adventure is endless if the right MAN were in charge of this series.

The series is set in the timeframe Obi-Wan is supposed to be in HIDING. There should be no adventures, especially not a whole TV series full of them....

I just listed several ideas for potential SMALL adventures and you respond by calling them BIG adventures. Nice try.

Uncle Owen is aware of him, so he attracts attention at some point. And if he kills the bounty hunters before they notify anyone else, problem solved. Just admit I'm right, dude.

The sooner Kennedy leaves, the better!

"It sounds like Kennedy would rather ensure that the story being told with this Disney+ series is as good as it can be on the page before they roll cameras,"
I am sure the trouble is they cannot figure out how to have a series starring a warrior guy and avoid him doing any warrior stuff that would trigger the ever more sensitive toxic masculinity alarm.
The fact they hire an Asian woman director most certainly was an apparatchik move to ensure obedience to the politics.

Hmmm I'm going to have to go with Jan on this one. Obi-Wan hand delivers Luke to the Lars Homestead at the end of Episode 3, so Owen and Beru already know him. Obi-Wan is laying low after Episode 3. People think he's dead and the ancient religion gone, including Empire/Tarking/Vader. It isn't until Episode 4 that people become aware of Obi-Wan being alive.

They really need to stop rushing these projects. The time to put together the scripts is before things are in production. Greed is not a powerful ally for them...

Bob Iger needs to please shareholders , not fans Well, I'm sure green-lighting the project, paying for crew/actors/caterers/etc, and overall just wasting resources only to pull the plug and send everyone home (further jeopardizing the availability of the director and lead actor for the project, mind you) doesn't please shareholders... Just a guess though. Luckily, I'm not a shareholder.
