GubbioMary Richards comes to mind as a strong woman who the OP has brought up several times as someone she cannot tolerate and so ?  "IMO, this is just an example of the mysoginy and sexism that has permeated Hollywood since its beginning. Same with much of the rest of the US, which had long prevented women from holding important positions in business and government."
