This is shocking and terrible news. He leaves behind a wife and three children. Also, I want to say rest in peace to his daughter who died in the crash, the pilot, and the other two passengers.

His death won't change the fact he was a giant cocky jerk who thinks he is Jesus Christ like sports athletes do. It won’t change the fact that you’re a fuckin douche either but here we are. Take your bullshit out of this thread.

You're really putting all of us sports fans to shame with your wit and grit. Fuck, I feel like I should be changing somehow, thanks to you and your rebellious insight into life. Please don't stop.

Wow, quite disturbing to hear that. May all passengers rest in peace. Kobe lived the dream, guy had a great life, didn't we all wish we were him at one time? My condolences go out to his family.

Kobe and Jack Nicholson.
Hard to believe Kobe was playing in an all-star game at just 19.

Really sad. The dude was a legendary player. Really sad. The dude was a human being, with a family. Ah yes there’s always one who tries to find some kind of hidden venom in an innocent post. But, yes, he was a human being with a family and that is 100% more important than basketball. It’s a genuine tragedy, and I feel for his family more than anyone. But have a pat on the back for pointing out the obvious and feeling the need to dunk on a sports-centric post on a sports board.

Wow. i thought it was fake too. Sad and I'm not an NBA fan
I had cleaned out my ignore list after quitting the Politics Board. Might have to dust and sweep up in there. Someone on this thread (who didn't have the balls to keep his post up there) is begging to get in there.

Not looking for venom (was never much of a Kobe fan myself), just pointing out a fact. He was more than a famous athlete. In this information age of mass media, it's easy to forget that.
