See for me it's the same in how I am with Batman & Robin or Batman v Superman. I like Batman & Robin more despite knowing it's the worse movie. I still get enjoyment out of rewatching that film because it's funny to laugh at how bad it is compared to BvS just being so long and flat out boring. With TLS and Apocalypse, I can at least get SOME enjoyment out of rewatching TLS because it still has the original cast and I really did enjoy Kelsey Grammar as Beast. As brief as he was in it he was probably my favorite part. I'd rather rewatch that movie over Apocalypse any day because Apocalypse was just overall boring as fuck and awful with no rewatchability for me much like BvS. As much as people made fun of Apocalypse's look and how bad he seemed, oddly enough I didn't mind any of that. I thought Isaac did a good enough job with what he had. He seemed threatening at times. However I just wish he did more and in the end, he kind of went out like the little bitch the whole final battle was a HUGE let down for me. From what I remember his whole thing was breaking Quicksilver's leg or something and fighting Charles in his mind. Then he just gets ganged up on in the end and then when Jean went all Phoenix it just cemented my opinion further that I want nothing to do with the rest of these sequels. This just reminded me how I like comparing thoughst about comic movies, its so cool. If you want to compare notes with X-Men: Apocalypse I'd gladly do so.

I'm not sure what this post is trying to say

It wasnt AS bad as Last Stand IMO but definitely a let down. Apocalypse was such a lame villain too they wasted my second favorite X Men villain. See for me it's the same in how I am with Batman & Robin or Batman v Superman. I like Batman & Robin more despite knowing it's the worse movie. For me it all depends on who is making them. The spin-off movies might be good and pushing the main series to the back. They need a better vision than the one that thinks things in a fantasy world is silly (he actually said that). You don't have to go full retard, but if you can do it then do it. They need to use more imagination.

They need to use more imagination. The spin off movies like New Mutants I might give a chance depending on the actors/actresses and what characters they are going to use. The main X-films like Dark Phoenix and whatever they plan on doing going forward I will skip as long as Sophie Turner is still playing Jean Grey unless they do something drastic to somehow change my mind.

I'm not sure what this post is trying to say Already fixed the typo before you posted. Gotcha, yeah I agree. The last thing a movie should be is boring and as bad as B&R was it can be entertaining in a certain way. BvS however is just flat out boring I get no enjoyment out of it.

You people don't know sh!t about film as an art if you can honestly sit there and compare X-Men: Apocalypse to the completely campy POS Batman & Robin... or X-Men: The Last Stand for that matter. I still don't understand why everyone thinks that was so bad. Literally, please, describe how you would remake those movies... until then, STFU.

And as far as The Phoenix in Apocalypse, the build-up and execution of the Phoenix Force was far better as a cinematic spectacle than what we saw in The Last Stand. The way it was shot was spectacular. The way she looked with that fire in her eyes gave me chills. And that was just the introduction to far bigger story. This is a long story line that takes this series into space. Why would anyone fight such a fun and wild story because some other movie did... weaker??

And what was so bad about Sophie's performance? I hate to break it to you people but Famke's performances in the original films were not so amazing... or else she would've stood out like Stewart, Jackman and McKellan. Like Janssen in the original films, they barely gave Sophie enough time to really shine.
