......one that probably would have benefited by being put out of its misery earlier than it was ?? ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/c7ix3cl95/hmm.gif) I'll go: MadTV (1995-2009) - As much as I've (usually) liked SNL, it was always nice to have this particular sketch comedy show to turn to on those nights NBC's show grew tiresome..... and Two And A Half Men (2003-2015) - A once outrageous, creatively funny show during a number of its earlier seasons, it would have been MUCH more merciful had they simply ended it in 2011 after Charlie Sheen's melt-down and firing from the show, given how ridiculously boring it eventually became... SAVE FERRIS

To me, Perfect Strangers deserved at least one more season. Seeing Larry and Balki be parents to their infant sons while their wives continued to work their flight attendant jobs would have been a great situation for the writers to tackle.
God bless you always!!!

Too early - Carnivale, I vaguely recall that apparently they had material for an additional 4 seasons
Too late - Friends - not the biggest fan of this show, but it was a solid, fun, watchable sitcom. Probably could've ended a season or 2 before it did though

To early: Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place (1998-2001) A show that ended on a cliffhanger, i really enjoyed this show and i wish it had gotten a couple of more seasons. Of course there are other shows to i wish had gone longer, but this is the show i will mention
To late: Well there are many in this category but i think i will go with The Office (2005-2013) I think this show could have ended after 5 seasons.

God bless you always!!! Holly THIS! And I wish Balki and Larry made appearances on Family Matters. I always wondered what it'd be like to see Balki and Steve Urkel interact with each other

Too Soon: Firefly. Now, always, and forever.
Too Late: Friends or The Office. The final few seasons just weren't up to par.

Too soon: Arrested Development, the 3rd season was a step down from the first two, but Fox should have kept it going longer.
Too late: old-school choice, The Andy Griffith Show should have ended the second Don Knotts decided to leave.

Too soon: Firefly, just to name one, there are too many. Too late: Dexter. I must say most tv shows go on too long(the ones that aren't cancelled of course).

Moesha with the singer Brandy deserved to be put out of it's misery before it did.
After one of the characters got a spin-off, They brought in brandy's brother Ray J to play Moesha's cousin Dorian. Then 14 episodes into season 5 (out of 22), they completely ruined the series by making Dorian Moesha's half brother out of wedlock and the show was pretty much ruined by then.
But yet it still managed to go on for one last season and it ended on a cliffhanger

Santa Clarita Diet - Ended in a cliffhanger and it was funny as hell.
How I Met Your Mother - With the conclusion they were going, I get the feeling that it could've ended in season 6.

Cancelled too soon: Penny Dreadful. Incredible first two seasons. Season 3 was a rush job because the director wanted to do something else, and not up to the standard of the first 2.

Gidget was a great 60s show that only ran only one season.
MASH became very preachy.

For the first question, I have to go with Firefly too.
For the second, I'll nominate The Walking Dead.

Too soon: Millennium, granted the 3rd season was its weakest, but it should've at least been allowed another one to reach the year 2000.
Too late: The X-Files, they should've really ended it when Duchovny left.

Ended too soon? Ned and Stacey. I was going to pick Firefly and maybe Miss Guided, which features the always entertaining Judy Greer.
Stayed too long? ER, the first few seasons were amazing, the next couple were still very good, then it went downhill and somehow lasted 15 years.

I wish they had ended the Chandler and Monica romance, it worked when it was a secret but stopped being funny when everyone found out. I felt sorry for Chandler, ending up with Monica.

The very first episode I watched of AD was the very last one aired in season 3, and I was hooked. I immediately went out and bought the first two seasons and watched them all within a few days.
I haven't seen enough of Andy Griffith, one of those shows I keep wanting to get.
