They could be better than the Cubs but they're not better than the Brewers or Cards. They've made some nice moves, but to me they over-achieved a bit last past year so even with their improvements, other guys will regress to their means a bit. Should be a fun team to watch though, one that hovers around or just over .500.
Jesse Winker is a twat.

Reds are going to be an 83-79 - 86-76 team that just misses getting into the Wild Card. Going to be a pretty good team, but it's still the Cardinals/Brewers division.

Why not the Reds?
The Brewers may have peaked over the last two years, and dear God, aren't we sick to death of the Cubs and Cardinals?
I would love to see the Reds emerge as an important team again.

All kidding aside, that guy has such great stuff, but I'm always amazed at how underwhelming he's been when I look at his numbers. He's had the benefit of being on good teams, but outside of a really good 2018 campaign, he's never really put it together. Usually a move to the NL helps, but he's in a launching pad.

Favorites? No. That's still the Cardinals imo.
However I do like the Reds as a sleeper team this year. Solid #1 and #2 in the rotation. A good closer. A decent lineup with guys like Suarez and Castellanos. They can compete for a wild card I think. I'd predict like 85 wins.

The Reds win the first two in San Francisco, then the Giants beat them 3 straight games in Cincy to win the series. Long live Hunter Pence!

I'm a Cardinals fan, but I could see the Reds taking the division. I think it's going to come down to whomever can stay the healthiest and can stay the hottest for most of the year. I don't think there's any clear cut favorite.
