skribbThe three emoticons I didn't add are newbie, listicon, and "b.gif" which seemed to be a blank placeholder of some sort. Oh, right. Why did you not include newbie?

Why did you not include newbie? It didn't fit.

Would it be possible to add them to the standard roster of smilies? i.e to reduce the amount of clicks necessary to view them.

Just click "view all smileys." I mean for them to show up without having to click on that button. The problem with your request is that ProBoards only allows 100 smilies, and there are 175 IMDb emoticons. With the smiley drop-down list, I can add an unlimited number of them while preserving the ProBoards default smileys. I think a couple of more clicks is worth that. Also, I think most IMDb users know the names of their favorites smileys by heart, so typing ::smileyname:: shouldn't be a very exhausting task.

thanlk you for the clarificaotn You're welcome. When I originally attempted to add the IMDb emoticons here, I spend a good amount of time trying to narrow them down to 100, but I eventually gave up when I realized that even if I did narrow them down, there would people asking for the 75 that didn't make the cut. Also, to replace the default smileys, I have to do them one by one for each theme. The smiley drop-down plugin solved everything in one fell swoop.
