I remember back when she was going to be basically the Next BIG Female Action Star and now after the Movie "PEPPERMINT", it seems (to me at least) like she is now just suddenly beginning to fall off of the radar when it comes to being in BIG Movies.
Jennifer Garner
What does everybody else here think ?

I really like her. Maybe her movie career did not go as good as expected. But did you see her in the comedy series Camping? I thought she was great in it.

The poor bitch could never make the leap from TV to the big screen. She always landed supporting roles in flop movies.

I thought it was funny and like I said Jennifer was great in it. It also starred another of my favorites. Juliette Lewis.

She's decent but does not stand out for me. but on a positive note I will say this... she seems like a decent person as I would trust her more than most in Hollywood. @poes J Lo is overrated if you ask me. while I don't think that much of Jennifer Garner or J Lo... if I had to marry one or the other, Jennifer Garner seems like the safer choice as a person overall as to me J Lo is not marriage material as I think many are blind because of her general looks/body at her age. I don't think she's a bad person or anything but she's a bit lacking in the moral dept (i.e. super bowl half time show etc) which does not set a good example for her kids etc. p.s. I assume you meant Ben Affleck? ; I think he was recently saying he regretted leaving Jennifer Garner (at least that's what I made out from the headlines) as he probably now see's what he left, which was more meaningful, instead of random people who don't really care about you which is empty relationships and are with him just because he's Ben Affleck. darkpastWhile it's technically possible to be a grandparent at that age... when I think 'grandparent' I tend to think of someone at least 50 something years old at the minimum because under that they are not even getting to the early stages of old yet as I tend to see general age like this... 20's and younger = spring chicken 30's = young (like the older side of ones youth) 40's = not young or old 50's = early stages of old 60's = pretty much old 70's = old 80's on up = dinosaur. (those who make it here are pretty much on bonus time) I also feel that generally plays inline with peoples health to as when people die of heart attack/stroke it's almost always a bare minimum of 50 something unless they got horrible health to begin with and then you can see as each decade passes ones chances of heart attack/stroke noticeably increases. I also formed that scale around the average of of death, which lets say call that about 80 years old.

Jennifer Garner is a way better actress than Jennifer Lopez , and I'm a fan of JLo . JLo always tries to be a better actress and has a little talent too - her problem is that she knows she's popular , but one actress can only please so many men (about one or two). When I'm out and about , and see plenty of JLo look-alikes , there is always a sadness about them , because the males are all obsessed with the actress , not realising there's a copy waiting for all that attention from actress-obsessed bachelors or playboys .
Anyway Jennifer Garner is a very naturally talented actress . I've heard she sometimes has problems with male fans . One of the reasons , she likes to stay home with her kids . And her ex-husband Ben has fallen into those traps of most popular modern stars , who want it all . Unfortunately , wanting to have it all , means that independence of a popular star , starts to destroy you (women , alcohol , drugs).
Maybe she's joining the older actress club now - Demi Moore , Heather locklear , Denise Richards ?

To me, actress Jennifer Garner had a successful start with action in her television career. Could it and would it have transferred over to movies, I think it would have. But for how long? She did go through some bad bumps especially with what the other poster said, with "Elektra." It's almost what happened with Jessica Biel's career, however Biel got into doing more dramatic films later in her career while Garner stuck with comedic/family films. You could see that in the movie the two actresses shared together, in "Valentine's Day." Though, I do think Jennifer Garner has that 'America's Sweetheart' quality to her. I don't see her doing that much bad work in any movie or TV choice she chooses, America will still like her. Actress Julia Roberts had a much bigger career but basically became that person in the public eye the same way. I'll always like Garner. I actually never saw her as completely hot or sexy, so much. To me she was always the smiley, wholesome-type - the best friend-type. Which overall is a quality that makes a person a real human being.

I really like her. Maybe her movie career did not go as good as expected. But did you see her in the comedy series Camping? I thought she was great in it. I read this page the other day leaving a comment about the actress, but I couldn't help but notice your mention of the TV series, "Camping." I forgot all about the show as I don't have HBO, though I had it free this weekend. I looked it up on the channel and it's 30 minute episodes available to watch. I binged watched it on Sunday. I enjoyed the show a lot, I knew very little about it other than it was something new starring actress Jennifer Garner. Yeah, I rarely watch trailers, ha. The humor was fresh and the chemistry was nice. Actress Juliette Lewis was also her fun, crazy self. Love her. Jennifer Garner was also her cute, nutty self. I thought the ending could have ended differently but overall I'd give it a 6.5/10. I just wanted to say thank you for the mention, it was a fun watch.

What exactly was that show about ?
The show "Camping" (2018) is about a married couple and their son going on a camping trip in the woods together (I believe for a week/5 days). It's her husband's 45th birthday and she wants to celebrate it at a camping resort that is anything but hygienic. Garner (the wife), invites her sister and her boyfriend, plus one (the boyfriend's teen daughter from a previous relationship). Garner also invites David Tennant's (her husband) two close guy friends from early college days, who bring their girlfriends. One girlfriend, whom nobody has ever met before. Wild, free-spirited, vivacious Juliette Lewis - who really brings out the crazy out of everyone. Especially the perfectly planned persona of Jennifer Garner's character. The season starts with all of the introductions right there day one at the camp. Every episode after follows the planned and unplanned camping activities and turmoils of the different couples stuck with each other.
My favorite thing about the show is that the characters kept you entertained throughout. The show got a low rating, which surprised me. I think fans were expecting something they've never seen before, per episode with some kind of climatic finale. However, the show remained subtle throughout its eight episodes. If you love Jennifer Garner, Juliette Lewis, David Tennant, Chris Sullivan and the actress who made me laugh a whole bunch, Bridget Everett (who plays Harry and runs the camp grounds) - the show will make you laugh. I enjoyed my time watching it, at least. And of course, back to Jennifer Garner, lol. For being close to 46 years-old at the time, Garner shows why she's Jennifer Garner. Her charisma on and off camera will always be recognized. I hope the mini-review helps, lol.
