LOL, I myself never even knew that she did another show.
What exactly was that show about ?
The show "Camping" (2018) is about a married couple and their son going on a camping trip in the woods together (I believe for a week/5 days). It's her husband's 45th birthday and she wants to celebrate it at a camping resort that is anything but hygienic. Garner (the wife), invites her sister and her boyfriend, plus one (the boyfriend's teen daughter from a previous relationship). Garner also invites David Tennant's (her husband) two close guy friends from early college days, who bring their girlfriends. One girlfriend, whom nobody has ever met before. Wild, free-spirited, vivacious Juliette Lewis - who really brings out the crazy out of everyone. Especially the perfectly planned persona of Jennifer Garner's character. The season starts with all of the introductions right there day one at the camp. Every episode after follows the planned and unplanned camping activities and turmoils of the different couples stuck with each other.
My favorite thing about the show is that the characters kept you entertained throughout. The show got a low rating, which surprised me. I think fans were expecting something they've never seen before, per episode with some kind of climatic finale. However, the show remained subtle throughout its eight episodes. If you love Jennifer Garner, Juliette Lewis, David Tennant, Chris Sullivan and the actress who made me laugh a whole bunch, Bridget Everett (who plays Harry and runs the camp grounds) - the show will make you laugh. I enjoyed my time watching it, at least. And of course, back to Jennifer Garner, lol. For being close to 46 years-old at the time, Garner shows why she's Jennifer Garner. Her charisma on and off camera will always be recognized. I hope the mini-review helps, lol.
I may have to check it out at some point in the future whenever I have the chance.
