I will be dismissing all 1 votes because that's just dumb. So maybe we should say on a scale of 3 or 4 to 10. 10 being the most scared of buring for eternity in hell, obviously. onethreetwo, you can't really do that, though, because atheists are almost certain to pick '1' because they don't believe Hell even exists. Now, me? I'm all over the place, but I guess I don't really believe in Hell myself (I mean. c'mon!). Though I do believe. But sometimes when I start feeling the heebie jeebies, I guess I can get as frightened as about a '7'. Now, if you really, really want to be scared, go watch the 1961 "The Innocents", which would be my pick for most frightening film of all time.

Wasn't hell invented by Dante's inferno? I'm pretty sure the original hell was actually a cold place. I'm not sure how "original" it is, but the ancient Scandinavian concept of Hell was eternal ice and snow...sorta like Arendelle was for a while there until Elsa got her powers under control.

In some Buddhist religions, Hell is eternal ice also.

I would say 0. I have had some people tell me I am going to go to hell for being a Lesbian but if that is the case I would rather spend the rest of eternity suffering just to have the years I have now with the woman I love than to spend the rest of my life in an unhappy marriage with a guy. Heaven to me is being in her arms and being able to kiss her after all the years we were kept apart.

I have no idea but I would hope if one does and created the universe and all the cosmos I would hope that God could have empathy and be accepting to gay people.

I SHOULD say 10, but somehow I don't feel it in my heart, so 6 or 7.

I have never been much of a religious person to be honest. I was into Wicca for a while when I was younger 'cause I had some friends who were Wiccans and I read the bible once a long time ago and don't remember it much. I am open to believing a lot of things exist in this universe though and believe aliens, ghosts and Bigfoots could be real for example but I think if a being like God does exist and is the way people describe them as they would be accepting of us too and wouldn't be hateful and discriminative like homophobes are.

I was not born in a family that follows Abrahamic religion so my answer would be not afraid at all. In fact, I have never been a religion person at any point of time in my life. I am an apatheist who is simply not interested in god and by extension in most types of fairies.

As long as dirtypillows and Nora are there to guide me, I don't care where I am going. Awww.... You're too sweet, too trusting, Toasted Cheese, and don't ever lose those qualities, young man! We all need one kind, warm woman to help guide us and make us feel safe, as well as one strong, resourceful and mirthful, big strong man to show us all the different paths we may choose in later life. Just make sure he looks in your eyes when he smiles back at you. But, more on this most interesting topic later!

But, more on this most interesting topic later! The good sense of a woman like nora and the great warmth of a man like you Mr. Dirty. Where can I go wrong.
I was at the A&E or ER, on Friday. Stupid little mindless accident. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The kind sweet young Indian doctor with an English accent was just adorable. When he was guiding be through breathing with the N2O gas while the procedure was being preformed, I had my eyes closed for most of it, when I opened them, I was woozy and looked right into his eyes and I saw nothing but warmth and compassion and care. I thought he was a special angel being for a moment and fell instantly in love, but this went beyond physical attraction.

hope you are ok. Glad you had a good doctor/anesthesiologist experience. To me they are half gods. After all they can make someone almost die but then bring them back... I always cry before I go under and while I know it makes the doctors jobs harder and i try hard not to I have not managed not to cry yet when I am about to be “put to sleep”. I always feel like that’s my last moment on earth and the doctor and nurse there at that very moment and their approach can really make or break the experience for me. I am so grateful so far I have only had The most compassionate and kind individuals taking care of me in those difficult moments..

I am so grateful so far I have only had The most compassionate and kind individuals taking care of me in those difficult moments.. It was comforting to know, that doctors are trained well and my medicare levy and insurance is being put to fine use. It does take a special character to do what they do. One of my besties is in his first year internship in a remote location. He is loving it.
I just fractured my little toe. I was a bone break virgin until last Friday. It was pointing towards NZ as the senior physio doc commented. They gave me 2 needles in my foot to numb, which was the worst part and the laughing gas, not to make me sleep, but just an added bonus and well worth it when it had to be cracked back into place. They wanted to make it as painless as possible. When asked a question, my answer came out in slo mo like in a movie. I did get a bit of nausea after I got home about an hour or so later. Lucky I drove home ok and with my dodgy foot, as it was my vehicle operating one. I felt a bit embarrassed being a little toe, but those little extremities can cause a lot of pain and agitation.
It is always weird feeling when going under general, because you know when you wake, quite some time has passed in what seems like a split second.
