Which of these very long running breakfast cereals is your favourite? I'm sorry if I left out your favourite. I only included cereals introduced prior to 1950.

Of that line-up, Cheerios. My favorite cereal in general is probably Cinnamon Toast Crunch or French Toast Crunch.

Shredded Wheat for me. I've been a SW eater all my life. How many of you remember the huge SW bricks that came in boxes back in the day? lol

Cheerio's, followed by Shredded Wheat. I like putting blueberries in Cheerios.

Out of those I would have to say Raisin Bran. But I never ate it as a kid. We had to have about 10 different kinds in our cupboard(we're talking 70's). I would choose Cap'n Crunch, or Frosted Flakes as a kid, because I needed more sugar in my body to fight my brothers

Golden Crisp, I guess. Was born in the early 80s, though, so I tended to eat the more sugar laden ones as a kid. Cinnamon Toast Crunch was my favorite... I still remember the three chefs in the commercials & on the box.

Cheerios, Rice Crispies, and maybe Kix, are the only ones that you can sit on the couch with a box of and eat like popcorn.

Raisin Bran is my favorite of that list, and about my 15th favorite overall.

I don't understand all the love for Cheerios. For one thing they don't sink in the milk. For another thing, sugar does not stick to them. All the sugar you put on Cheerios sinks to the bottom of the bowl. For another thing, they taste just like the box they come in. What is the purpose? Nutrition? Not much of that. But it does have fiber. Maybe that is what people like. A huge helping of oat fiber. If it's fiber you want, eat the box. It tastes better.

You want sinkers so you can be surprised when you pull the spoon up? I'd rather be able to control the ratio of cereal to (coconut) milk on the spoon.
