There’s only so much about fly-fishing that a community of enthusiasts can discuss.

some boards are just the admin posting and nobody else, they were obviously trying to make the board a thing but nobody came

I left an obscene message on a board which hadn't any activity for one year. It wasn't hostile, it was a sexual proposition. The poster told an interesting story about smoking weed and doing stupid stuff. But nobody ever responded so I did.
Proboards needs to cull the forums by most recent post so we know which ones are still active.

I did, once, last summer. I had never seen (or maybe had just not noticed) the directory until after I opened a little ProBoard and was tooling around in the Admin categories. The first place I clicked onto was super busy; it had a light pink background with flowers (I think roses) on it. Everyone seemed really polite and like they all knew each other. I didn't post anything.
