1, Inside the Mafia, although for true realism I'd go with Bronx Tale or At Close Range
2. The Stand
3. Room Service, with HM to At the Circus, Inspector General, Court Jester, Princess and the Pirate, and Sorrowful Jones
4. The Name of the Rose HM to Outland
5. Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, easily the best of the series in establishing characters. HM to Star Trek III, which I think is even better than number 2. These three are clearly the three best, in any sane reckoning.

1. Organized crime film? Not sure I saw any that could be considered underrated.
2. stephen king sourced film? The Running Man with Schwarzenegger
3. zany comedy film? There is gore and the humor can be pretty dark at times but I'll go with Severance (2006)
4. Non Bond Connery film? I don't think I disliked any of his roles but I'll go with The Offence (1973) in which he (brilliantly) plays a police officer on the verge of a nervous breakdown who finally snaps while interrogating a suspect. The atmosphere is great but Connery's acting is actually a break from the kind of roles which he usually plays. Here is the trailer:
5. Star Trek film? I've seen most of them but I can't say I know that universe enough to name one.
