Rumor was a few months ago that Hogan was trying his best to get in shape and politic himself into a retirement match at WrestleMania. Luckily none of that talk has come back up. However if he were to do it, I'd love for it to be just a huge squash match where Hogan gets beaten in seconds by somebody. However, I can't think of who that somebody should/would be. It also would never ever happen but one could dream.

we are also apparently getting Taker vs Styles which is why they had the segment with both at Super showdown who asked ^ for that? Styles wins and it benefits him in "no way at all" by beating a guy that only shows up once or twice a year, Taker wins and you bury one of your popular stars by having him lose to a part timer! thus begs the question what was the point of having Taker lose to Reigns & Lesnar at WM if you are just going to have him compete in meaningless matches year after year? just give the man his long past due HOF induction and let him retire sometimes I think Vince & Co. look for ways to make their product dull ^ While I agree that Undertaker is way past his prime and should have retired after the Reigns match or ideally after the Lesnar one but considering how that match went I can understand why he didn't in hindsight. However I don't agree that anyone even of the caliber of AJ Styles would consider losing to The Undertaker at WrestleMania even at this point in his career a burial. I have no interest in the match really but it's a better showcase for Styles than what a lot of other guys are getting. Sure, I'd much rather see Styles vs Edge but still. Even losing to Taker at Mania it's hardly going to bury Styles. Rumor has it Styles is retiring after his current contract runs out which I think is next year? So have this "dream match" that I imagine somebody out there has (not me but I'm sure some do) and then have Styles go out in a big way next year putting over somebody like Aleister Black maybe? true but as stated I don't really see the point in this match it benefits neither side either way other than potentially being a dream match, and as I said what was the point of having Taker lose to Reigns & Lesnar if youre going to keep bringing him back for matches like this? say he loses this match to Styles then what happens next year at WM 37? Taker vs Yokozuna Jr?
