Jack and Jennifer still on this show or what? P.S. Word around the campfire is that unexpected death in the family is Bill Horton.

Yup, and that is why J&J aren't on the canvas because they are off dealing with that death.
Such a bummer.

They never write for happy couples! I know, and I get it, but like... give them some drama then! I kind of wish their reunion wasn't just "Jack gets his memory back, so they're married now and the end." I'd like to see them have some drama and story while Jack is actually... Jack. With J.J. leaving and Abby always coming and going, it starts to make me nervous for J&J's future. And, if they decide they're done with Jack and Jennifer, you know what will happen. They'll keep Jen and they'll kill Jack off again.

They'll keep Jen and they'll kill Jack off again. The problem is, the writers don't know how to write actual, good drama for any of the characters, let alone Jack and Jen. The only they know is to manufacture some stupid excuse to break two characters up, so that they have work their back to each other; instead of giving them personal challenges that test their inner personal character. They just want to keep rehashing the same 5 romances over and over.

They can totally give J&J stories without them breaking up. They run a damn newspaper! They can investigate stuff and work on projects.
If they kill Jack off again, like come on, they can't. He'd have died more than Stefano probably.

He'd have died more than Stefano probably. Well sure, they can give them stories without breaking them up; Days can do virtually anything, yet they choose to do the same schlock they've been doing. That's the thing that regularly bugs the hell of out of me with this show. They get 5 episodes a week, they have this huge cast; even at an average run time of only say, 37 minutes of actual story content per episode, let alone the restraints of their production budget and schedule, they have a unique opportunity to tell some incredible, elaborate and interwoven stories about people. They have doctors and lawyers and reporters and scientists and crime bosses and supervillains and international fucking spies, and they focus on the most banal and insubstantial parts of their lives. As a wannabe writer that seriously pisses me off that there are so-called "writers" out there, getting paid to piss in this enormous sandbox that others could only dream to play in.
