Apologies if there's another thread on this (Haven't seen it on the board yet), but I went to see it on Saturday night in the theatre. It's an excellent film, well shot, directed and acted. Some great thematic material here, isolation/loneliness, sexual frustration/confusion, identity. Best film I've seen in the cinema since Three Billboards. It's Defoe's best performance yet.
If you'd like to see a similar film about two people in hierarchical relationships stranded in isolated setting, paranoid and conflicted, I recommend the Russian film How I Ended This Summer (2010)
